Godless Bastard was launched in late April of 2004, but a visitor counter wasn’t added until sometime in 2006. I recently took it down because it wasn’t reflective of true site traffic. The count was incremented only if the visitor entered through the home page. (The overwhelming majority of visitors enter elsewhere by way of a specific keyword internet search.)

The chart below shows the usage statistics for the 2012 calendar year (minus about an hour and a half).

2012 brought 150,678 visitors to 467,674 pages. From site launch to the end of last year, my best rough estimation yields 2.5 million page views by 750,000 visitors.
